Payroll/Billing Specialist (Part-Time | Murrieta, CA - OPEN)
Role Summary: The Payroll/Billing Specialist performs payroll and billing functions, including managing time entries, calculating wages, processing payments, accounts receivable, and payroll accuracy. Requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail. 20-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Calculate and process employee wages in a timely fashion
- Prepare client invoices using accurate payroll data
- Review job costing to ensure correct invoicing
- Handle customer inquiries and disputes
- Comply with regulatory requirements (workers comp audits, etc.)
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years payroll and billing experience
- Familiarity with accounting principles & payroll procedures
- Strong organizational & time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite & accounting systems
- Experience with WinTeam and ADP a plus
Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour
